Every lithium RV battery on the shelf is the same plain plastic brick, competing on spec sheets alone. Axion 105 was designed to stand out: a rugged, ribbed IP67 case with fold-down handles, a built-in charge display, and heavy-duty M8 terminals, made to look as tough as the trips it powers. I led the industrial and enclosure design, and produced the launch film in KeyShot straight from production CAD.

RV lithium batteries had become a commodity: near-identical black and blue plastic boxes competing on amp-hours and price. Most customers buy online, so the battery has to sell itself from a thumbnail. Axion needed to read as premium, rugged gear while staying sealed to IP67.

A ribbed, warm-gray body framed by black bumpers top and bottom, with the RVLock shield front and center. The ribs stiffen the side walls and add grip, and the bumpers protect the corners. The result reads as gear, not a commodity box.

The case is sealed to IP67: dust-tight and protected against immersion. The lid-to-case joint, the terminal pass-throughs, and the display window are each sealed, with threaded terminal inserts captured in the lid. [ADD: seal method — gasket, weld, or potting.]

A sealed box has no vents, so every internal choice affects heat. The cell stack, BMS board, and bus bars were packaged to keep the electronics clear of the cells, with the display board sitting directly under the lid window. [ADD: how heat leaves the case — wall contact, spreader, or thermal pads — and any cold-weather heating.]

M8×1.25 terminals thread into inserts captured in the lid, so cables torque down onto metal, not plastic. Twin fold-down handles pivot up for carrying and stow flush once the battery is installed.

A molded foam base and top cradle the battery in shipping, and the retail box carries the same KeyShot renders front and back, so the product looks consistent from listing to unboxing.
